Marketing Internship Job - Immediate Opening

MSI takes a sophisticated approach to marketing by developing marketing strategies, advertising packages and online marketing programs. Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a self-motivated and inspired individual to join our talented account service team for a 30-40 hours per week (15 week session) internship, with $1,000 stipend. The candidate’s hours will be flexible to work around their school schedule, and they will report directly to an Account Executive. This ideal opportunity offers hands-on experience for an individual interested in building the foundation for their career in marketing.

Internship Responsibilities:
The MSI Internship Program offers advertising/marketing/communications students hands-on experience in an advertising agency setting. The successful candidate will support the Account Service team and participate in a broad range of marketing activities including:
• The development and execution of marketing initiatives such as print advertising and direct mail campaigns
• Project management of agency initiatives between internal departments
• Competitive analysis and research
• Media planning and placement
• Writing reports and presentations
• Brainstorming new client opportunities
• General administrative support and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
The MSI Internship Program is open to enrolled undergraduate students who are currently working towards their relevant degree. Potential candidates will receive academic course credit from their college/university. Candidates will posses:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified timeframes
• Established organizational skills and be detailed oriented
• A positive attitude, flexibility and problem solving mentality
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), PC experience preferred

Editorial/Writing Internship - Urban Fashion and Music Blogs

AKB Media Group is currently looking for Editorial (Content) interns in the Atlanta area to write for urban fashion and music business blogs.

We are seeking motivated individuals with a strong interest in writing & editing, blogging, photography, and video production to create and manage site content. Program participants will have access to various industry events and resources to complete their assignments.

Ideal fashion editorial candidates will have a strong interest in urban fashion and the fashion industry. Knowledge of current fashion trends and designers is a must.

Ideal music editorial candidates will have a strong interest in urban music and the urban music industry. Knowledge of current artists and music business trends is preferred, but not required.

AKB Media Group interns are exposed to many facets of the entertainment industry and are actively involved in the company’s day-to-day operations. The internship program is designed to provide invaluable experiences and add value to the participant’s collegiate studies. THIS IS NOT an internship program that requires students to run errands and get coffee. Program participants are empowered and encouraged to treat the internship as the springboard to their professional careers.

PAY: All interns will receive a travel stipend with the potential for additional performance based compensation for specific assignments. School credit is available and we ask that between 8-20 hours a week (on- or off-site) be devoted to the internship. INTERNS MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR COLLEGE CREDIT.

Though not a requirement, Editorial/Content interns candidates should be pursuing journalism, fashion, and/or music industry degrees.

AMERICAN JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION

The AJGA is looking for qualified applicants to serve as tournament communications interns. The interns will travel extensively throughout the United States during the internship and will help conduct national junior golf tournaments. In the spring, two teams of six interns each will be hired, with each intern team being comprised of Operations and Communications. In the summer, six teams of seven interns will be hired and travel with a specific travel itinerary. Tournament communications interns are responsible for performing all on-site communications and media relations duties.
